Name: Eduardo (Ed) Joseph
How long you have been a member at CFSC: 18 months
How you got started at CFSC: I work about a 2 minute walk from Steele Creek CrossFit. I would always see a group of people running, be it in the rain, hot humid August weather, or dead of winter. My coworkers and I joked that they were all crazy. Then one day my company introduced the employees to Brian and Buffy. I gotta admit…the company “ponying up” a large percentage of the cost made it a lot easier join. Look at me now…I’m one of the crazy people and loving it!
Favorite CrossFit movement: Box jumps
Least favorite CrossFit movement: Power snatchers
Favorite healthy food/meal: Quinoa egg scramble (love me some sautéed vegetables)
Favorite part about CFSC: The people! The coaches and other athletes are so supportive. I like the way the coaches push me to finish the WOD even though time cap has passed.
Something we don’t know about you: I was born in Panama and moved to the United States when I was 8 years old.
Words of wisdom for people who are new to CrossFit or interested in trying it: Try it! You have nothing loose and an extended family to gain. This place is awesome!
