Name: Bryan Craver
Age: 31
How long you have been a member at CFSC: 7 Years
How you got started at CFSC: Well I had just moved to Charlotte with a few buddies of mine and I thought “You know what would go good with this amazing sense of humor? Some muscles… yeah I know. We can laugh together.” But I’d always wanted to get into CrossFit so once I was settled into my new place I looked around and found CFSC and haven’t looked back!
Favorite CrossFit movement: Power/Squat Cleans. Or honestly any time we pick a barbell up and put it down
Least favorite CrossFit movement: It use to be any time the assault bike was involved but with us now having Echo bikes I gotta be honest whatever demon invented that thing needs to catch some hands.
Favorite healthy food/meal: Any kind of baked chicken with veggies is good. With a little bit of siracha on top
Favorite part about CFSC: The community of people is awesome. From the members who keep things lighthearted while we wait for imminent death during a workout. To the incredible coaches we have who will work with you if you need to tweak anything for your workout so you have the right balance of intensity.
Something we don’t know about you: Crazy I know, but I still have not been outside the US haha
Words of wisdom for people who are new to CrossFit or interested in trying it: You should definitely give it a chance. And do not worry about your current fitness level. You are only competing with yourself just keep showing up and doing the work and the results will come! Consistency is your best friend!

Something we don’t know about you: Something funny you don’t know me is that since I’m a New Year’s baby, my friends always joke that I start every year with a ‘bang’. They never miss an opportunity to remind me that the fireworks and parties are really just for my birthday celebration!
