Name: Jefry Torres ( Jeff )
Age: 30
How long you have been a member at CFSC: Almost 2 years, on January 2026
How you got started at CFSC: my partner introduced me to everything about CrossFit when we met and couldn’t stop talking about CFSC, so I had to join!
Favorite CrossFit movement: Definitely Toes-to-Bar
Least favorite CrossFit movement: overhead squats (I don’t have the flexibility for it)
Favorite healthy food/meal: grilled lemon and cilantro chicken with pico de gallo and a chick pea salad
Favorite part about CFSC: CFSC has all the tools for you to be successful: Equipment, space, motivation, good coaches, and the Big *** Fan!
Something we don’t know about you: I am a barista. I moved here from Guatemala and had my own small business with coffee there. I hope to open an arcade-coffee shop hybrid in the future.
Words of wisdom for people who are new to CrossFit or interested in trying: Just try and keep going. You have to overcome that voice in your head that tells you something is too heavy or you can’t move this way or that your body can’t do something. We are in control of what we can achieve.
