Why don’t you offer free trials

Why don’t you offer free trials in the gym?

It’s a question we get asked on a monthly basis.

It still irks some people when they find out because it remains a common practice in the fitness industry.

Here’s the thing, doing things the common way didn’t get us to where we’re at today.

If we did things the way everyone else does we wouldn’t be the oldest North Carolina.

If we did things the common way we’d have a revolving door of underappreciated and underpaid part time coaches that did this exclusively as a hobby.

There is definitely room for part time hobby coaches (and even our’s work their tails off to get on the floor), but we can’t exclusively staff a gym with them if we truly want to complete our mission of helping thousands in Charlotte people beat chronic disease and obesity.

So if you want to help that many people, why do you not offer free trials to get more people to sign up?

Because free trials are the antithesis of getting people committed.

Think about it. How many times do you walk through Costco or Sam’s Club, sample all the tasty morsels, and buy absolutely none of them? My point exactly.

We want people committed to changing their lives because thats what we’re here to do. People committed to changing their lives don’t need to try a workout to know if we’re a fit.

Our Free Consult is designed to clear up all the loose ends and make it a clear cut decision if we’re the right fit.

Don’t worry, if we’re not, our mission goes beyond our 4 walls. We continue to work towards our mission when we refer someone to a gym that’s a better fit in town. We do it all the time because it’s not about the money.

We know if we provide the level of service people deserve they’ll get the results they want and the money will never be an issue

We don’t offer free trials because free trials don’t serve you, your goals, or your time.
