Favorite CrossFit movement: Deadlift (I feel so strong!)
Least favorite CrossFit movement: Snatch (I feel so weak!)
Favorite healthy food/meal: Teriyaki Salmon bowl with sweet potato, peppers, broccoli, bok choy, avocado and rice
Favorite part about CFSC: How welcoming everyone has been from the very beginning. I was very intimidated starting cross fit again after taking 5 years off, but I have felt so supported by my 7AM class and coaches! I also love how much we go over form and warming up before the actual work out – that gives me the confidence to push myself to try heavier weights or new movements without the fear of injuring myself.
Something we don’t know about you: I have a dog named Chandler Bing, my favorite movie is Tommy Boy, and I love golfing in my free time 😊
Words of wisdom for people who are new to CrossFit or interested in trying it: GO FOR IT! The hardest part is just getting to the first class. From there, the Coaches will have your back and be happy to explain any movement or verbiage to make sure you are comfortable. The members also make it so worth it. You will thank yourself for starting, and will be excited to come back again and again when you discover how physically and mentally strong you can be!
