How long you have been a member at CFSC: 1 year 4 months
How you got started at CFSC: Nutrition Challenge at my office introduced us to Buffy and Tiara. It’s all been a blur since then.
Favorite CrossFit movement: I was never into lifting weights so every movement has had their learning curve. Deadlifts, rowing and pistols are my jam now.
Least favorite CrossFit movement: Anything at 5 am but especially handstands.
Favorite healthy food/meal: Nothing beats a good steak and sweet potatoes.
Favorite part about CFSC: All the people we’ve met and become friends with and continue to meet. I look forward to going to the gym more than any kind of workout I have ever done.
Something we don’t know about you: I love anything with 2 wheels. I have a pair of Ducati’s that I track throughout the year. I am an avid mountain biker too.
Words of wisdom for people who are new to CrossFit or interested in trying it: L-I-S-T-E-N to the coaches, they really do know what they’re talking about. Be patient with yourself and have realistic goals/expectations…they will come in time.

How long you have been a member at CFSC: One Year
How you got started at CFSC: Our family was actively looking at ways to better ourselves and our health when my husband’s company, Redline, signed up for the 6 week nutrition challenge. We decided to check out the gym & signed up for PT & we have been hooked since.
Favorite CrossFit movement: Power Clean
Least favorite CrossFit movement: Rope Climb
Favorite healthy food/meal: Balsamic steak salad and fish tacos with fresh slaw.
Favorite part about CFSC: The community is unmatched. You are surrounded by incredible people & coaches who consistently support and challenge you.
Something we don’t know about you: I grew up in the competitive dance world & won National Dance Champion back in the day! You will still catch me dancing anytime I hear a good beat. Dance parties in the kitchen with my 18 year old daughter are the highlight of my week.
Words of wisdom for people who are new to CrossFit or interested in trying it: Continue to push through & focus on you! A consistent & positive mindset are everything.

How long you have been a member at CFSC: I’ve been a member at CFSC for over a year now.
How you got started at CFSC: I got started when my parents became a part of a nutrition challenge and we got into personal training from and haven’t stopped since then!
Favorite CrossFit movement: If I had to choose it would be deadlifts.
Least favorite CrossFit movement: Definitely wall balls.
Favorite healthy food/meal: Honey garlic chicken thighs with rice and broccoli.
Favorite part about CFSC: Definitely the people and community.
Something we don’t know about you: I’m going to USC for Nursing and I coach volleyball to young kids.
Words of wisdom for people who are new to CrossFit or interested in trying it: Do not overthink things and always trust your coaches when they say you can do it. 100% of the time they’re right.
